Green Technology

Green Technology. The land based lottery system generates an enormous amount of paper each day. More specifically, over 40 million paper lottery tickets are printed in the United States on a daily basis. In an electronic age and with a focus on limiting greenhouse gases, the mobile lottery represents, perhaps, the greenest mobile application ever developed. As a result of this mobile technology, state governments could potentially qualify for carbon credits that could be traded and recognized as revenue on the open market. The world’s industrialized countries are also it’s most productive in terms of greenhouse gas emissions. The United States and China combined emit almost 40% of all greenhouse gases worldwide. China has already approved and implemented a mobile lottery for its citizens, now it’s the United States’ turn to decrease its carbon footprint and follow suit.
