Brent Wilkins

Founder and Executive Advisor

Brent Wilkins, 48, was named Chief Executive Officer for Mobile Lottery LLC on November 6, 2009.

Prior to his appointment as CEO, Brent was Managing Director for Cantor Fitzgerald LP from 2001-2009. Brent is credited as being the chief architect/co-inventor for Cantor’s wireless financial trading and gaming business ventures.

In 2005, a Cantor Fitzgerald LP subsidiary, BGC Partners, launched the world’s first real-time trading application over a cellular network in partnership with Sprint Nextel for the U.S. Treasury market . The U.S. Treasury trading application successfully traded over $20 billion in transactions. Brent also was a key contributor for Cantor as it obtained the first mobile gaming license for the State of Nevada in May 2006, including the negotiation for its first OEM device approved for use by the Nevada Gaming Control Board in October 2008.

For over 25 years, Brent has been an entrepreneur in the telecommunications industry with a focus on delivery of secure, mission-critical services. Previously, he was the co-founder and President of Chapel Hill Broadband, Inc., a leading fiber optic brokerage firm that secured over $60 million in transactions prior to being acquired by Cantor Fitzgerald LP in 2001. From 1998-2000, Brent served as the Director of Wholesale Services at Interpath Communications, Inc. (Progress Energy), where he grew its wholesale telecom business from $6 million to over $48 million in only 18 months.

Brent received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from East Carolina University, and his Masters of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

George Ranallo

Strategic Technical Advisor – Wireless and Location Based Services

George Ranallo is an 18 year veteran of the telecommunications industry including fifteen with Sprint, the industry leader in wireless data services.

At Sprint, George led the Consumer Application Organization within the Wireless Data division. His team was responsible for the development, life-cycle management, operational management and mobile marketing of Sprint’s full line of Consumer applications; including Navigation, Sports, Mobile Games, Entertainment, and Personalization services. In addition, George lead the Digital Media Division with full development, testing and implementation of all digital media content and development and management for five years. In 2005, his team assumed all responsibility for Digital Media Platforms and Products during the Sprint Nextel Merger. During his tenure with Sprint, the Digital Media business grew to over $500M in annual sales and was one of the fastest growing wireless data service areas within the organization.

In November of 2007, George founded Summit Mobile, a mobile application development and consulting company. His vision is to create an environment that will assist organizations in bringing together technology, content, and innovative marketing strategies to develop compelling mobile solutions.

He received his Bachelor’s of Science in Business and Economics and Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Kansas.

Michael Bray

Strategic Financial Advisor to assist the firm during its initial expansion phase.

With over 30′ years of finance and communications management experience including document preparation for the sale of Chapel Hill Broadband to Cantor Fitzgerald LP in June 2001. Michael has both an undergraduate and Master’s degree in accounting from Virginia Tech.

Matthew Swyers

General Counsel

Matthew Swyers, 38 was named general counsel on November 9, 2009.

Matthew has an extensive background in corporate law with a focus on technology centric organizations. In addition to general law, Matthew specializes in intellectual property litigation, clearance and prosecution. He is a recognized expert in the enforcement and defense of intellectual property rights in the United States courts and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.

Matthew received his J.D. from George Mason School of Law and B.A. from Columbia University with Honors in Economics.

Sean Malatesta

Executive Adviser / Content and Design Developer

Sean Malatesta, 39, was named Executive Adviser of Mobile Content Development on December 8, 2009.

Sean is responsible for managing Mobile Lottery LLC’s global mobile content development in coordination with the content developers, mobile operators, content stores and aggregators.

As a seasoned and serial entrepreneur, Sean has served as a key executive in building and developing businesses within the Media, Telecom, Entertainment and Gaming sectors. In these roles, Sean is credited with raising more than $50 million in strategic financing for the companies he served.

Most recently, as CEO of IGFUN (Indagames), Sean managed business accounts in the Americas & Europe, interacting with mobile carriers/operators, handset makers and rights holders assembling many of the company’s business relationships that brought an annual slate of games to market.

Prior to Indiagames, Malatesta was Director of Business Development with Mobile365 (now Sybase365 and formerly Mobileway), a leading mobile carrier aggregator and full service mobile company. At Mobile365, Malatesta assembled partnerships with mobile carriers, technology companies, content makers, motion picture studios, TV networks, records labels, advertising agencies and media companies; including the first Google SMS service. He played an instrumental role in managing the explosive worldwide growth of two of the leading companies in the field of electronic program guides. In the past, Malatesta was VP, Business Development/Mobile for DigiGuide, a UK technology company, that produces leading applications including advanced TV guides (EPGs) for multi- platforms (including interactive TV).

Sean was also Founder and Vice President of International & Domestic Business Development and Co-Founder of Yack Media Services (YMS), the publisher of the leading Internet Program Guide service.

He has been profiled in publications worldwide and was selected by Ernst & Young as an Entrepreneur of The Year Finalist (2000). Malatesta has shared his vision for digital entertainment at many industry conferences, including MIT, CES, Digital Hollywood, NAB, COMDEX, CTIA, NATPE, MIP/MILIA and Internet World. Malatesta is on the Board of Advisors to The American Heart Association. He holds a B.A. from University of Michigan and a J.D. from the New York Law School.
